Our Organic lemon oil is a pure essential oil that is produced by cold pressing the peel of fresh lemons (Citrus limon). Organic lemon essential oil has the full aroma of fresh lemons.  As with many forms of nature color of the oil may vary depending on the harvest, harvest conditions, and the region in which the lemons are sourced. Color can range from pale to bright green as well as a range of yellow shades.  Lemon essential oil is widely used in the cosmetic, personal-care, soap making, aromatherapy, and the manufactured cleaning products industry.  Lemon oil is photo-toxic. Photo-toxic substances render the skin susceptible to damage (such as sunburn or blisters) upon exposure to the sun or other sources of light, especially ultra-violet light.  Do not use in sun care products.
